Basketball Recap: Oasis Academy Find Success

If Silver Stage wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Oasis Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Fenn Mackedon. The Oasis Academy Bighorns walked away with a 30-23 win over the Silver Stage Nighthawks on Tuesday thanks in part to Mackedon, who posted 15 points along with eight boards and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Oasis Academy's points.

Oasis Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Silver Stage, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Oasis Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-31 defeat against North Tahoe on the 17th. As for Silver Stage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-28 loss against Sierra Lutheran on the 17th.
