Basketball Recap: North Andrew Victorious

North Andrew won the last time they faced Mound City and things went their way on Wednesday too. The North Andrew Cardinals walked away with a 52-40 victory over the Mound City Panthers.

North Andrew's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Mound City, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Andrew will square off against King City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. King City is on a four-game streak of home wins, North Andrew a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Mound City, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mound City Panthers take on the DeKalb Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mound City is facing DeKalb at the right time seeing as DeKalb is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
