Softball Recap: Junction Has No Trouble Against San Saba

Junction got themselves on the board against San Saba on Friday, but San Saba never followed suit. They blew past the Armadillos 20-0. Considering the Eagles have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Junction is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for San Saba, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Junction will challenge rival Harper at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, San Saba is set to square off against their familiar foe Goldthwaite at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
