Football Recap: Julian Currie and Amari Jackson Pace Eustis Defense + How To Watch

Eustis fell victim to Wekiva and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a hard 14-0 fall against the Mustangs. The Panthers lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 53-6 score last time.

Eustis didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Julian Currie and Amari Jackson.

This is the second loss in a row for Eustis and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Wekiva, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Eustis has already played their next matchup, a 26-7 defeat against Foundation Academy on the 19th. As for Wekiva, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-6 loss against Dr. Phillips on the 19th.
