Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They walked away with a 61-49 victory over the Smithton Tigers on Tuesday. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Tigers are ranked 404th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Smithton, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-12.

Lincoln will have a chance to go back-to-back against Smithton: the pair will be back at it again later today.
