Volleyball Recap: Chino Hills Triumphs

Chino Hills won the last time they faced Colony and things went their way on Friday too. The Huskies walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Titans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Jocelyn Bazurto paced Chino Hills' offense, picking up six kills. Bazurto got some help from Edith Leung and her seven assists. Cassandra Athans controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Chino Hills' win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Colony, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Chino Hills will take on Murrieta Mesa at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Colony, they are taking a road trip to face off against Alta Loma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
