Volleyball Recap: Arizona College Prep Takes a Loss

Arizona College Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pinnacle Pioneers.

Taylor Rother paced Arizona College Prep's offense, picking up three kills. Rother were helped by Zoe Anderson and Katelynn Jaeger, who contributed four assists each. Rother also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abby Boyd, racking up two apiece.

Arizona College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pinnacle, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Arizona College Prep and Pinnacle will both be playing Higley the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pioneers will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
