Volleyball Game Preview: Noblesville Millers vs. Lawrence North Wildcats

The Noblesville Millers will venture away from home to challenge the Lawrence North Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Monday, Noblesville didn't have quite enough to beat Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Millers in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost four in a row.

Noblesville started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 23-25, 25-13, 25-19, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Lawrence North lost 3-0 to Perry Meridian on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Lawrence North has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Noblesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-20.

Noblesville beat Lawrence North 3-1 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Millers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
