Jack Lynch posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Fort Lauderdale is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 1-6-1 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Lynch and Fort Lauderdale will square off against McArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Lauderdale hasn't beaten McArthur recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2017.
