Volleyball Recap: Timothy Christian Trojans vs. IC Catholic Prep Knights        
        
		
             Timothy Christian extended their postseason success on Thursday against IC Catholic Prep. They came out on top against the IC Catholic Prep Knights by a score of  2-0. The Trojans are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 37 straight.
 Timothy Christian never let IC Catholic Prep on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21,  25-22.
 Timothy Christian's offense was headlined by 
 Audrey Williams and 
 Abby VanderWal, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from 
 Elizabeth Alex and her 19 assists.
 When it comes to explaining why IC Catholic Prep lost, don't look at  Natalie Lawton. Despite the final result, she  had 21  digs. Lawton has been hot recently, having  posted 21 or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
 Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 37-2. As for IC Catholic Prep, they moved to 23-15 with that  loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Timothy Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Latin  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Timothy Christian is on a ten-game streak of home wins, Latin a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. IC Catholic Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
