Softball Recap: Mendota Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Mendota and Somonauk squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Mendota had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bobcats, falling 12-2. The Trojans just can't catch a break and have now endured 18 defeats in a row.

Mendota saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Perryman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Mendota's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Somonauk, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-13.

As of now, neither Mendota nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
