Volleyball Recap: Gibbs Takes a Loss

Gibbs lost against Berean Christian on September 6th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against Berean Christian, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rebekah Spierdowis paced Gibbs' offense, picking up 13 kills. Spierdowis got some help from Macy Ramsey and her 15 assists. Ramsey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Gibbs' loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Berean Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-10.

Coming up, Gibbs will square off against Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Berean Christian, they will face off against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
