 The Central Cabarrus Vikings put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding  84-55 win over The Burlington School at home. Fans of Central Cabarrus have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
 Central Cabarrus had a senior duo take command as  Carson Daniel  scored 22 points along with eight  assists and six  rebounds and  Desmond Kent Jr.  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and 17  rebounds. The  match was  Kent Jr.'s sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Chase Daniel, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and ten  rebounds.
 When it comes to explaining why The Burlington School lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Zion Walker. Despite the final result, he  scored 25 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals. The  contest was  Walker's 15th in a row with at least ten points.  King Gibson was another key contributor,  scoring ten points along with three  blocks.
 Central Cabarrus' victory was  their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 91.9 points per game. As for The Burlington School, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
 Central Cabarrus won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Hickory Ridge at 8:30  p.m.  on December 16th. Hickory Ridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 420 points over their last six games. The Burlington School won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Forsyth Country Day at 5:30  p.m.  on December 16th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in North Carolina (Forsyth Country Day is ranked fifth, while The Burlington School is ranked seventh).
