There's no place like home for St. Laurence, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fenwick Friars with a sharp 17-2 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 17 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Laurence's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for Fenwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15-1.

Looking ahead, St. Laurence will be taking part in a tournament against Brother Rice at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 3.7, the Crusaders 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Fenwick, they will head out on the road to challenge Loyola Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
