Football Recap: Mount Si Gets the Win + How To Watch

Mount Si hadn't beaten Eastlake on the road since September 15, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 14-7. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Wildcats were the (much) better team in the second half.

Colton Stiles threw for 139 yards and one touchdown. Scott Corder was his top target, picking up 68 receiving yards and one TD.

When it comes to explaining why Eastlake lost, don't look at Myles Johnson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 211 yards and one score. Johnson is becoming a predictor of the Wolves' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

The win got Mount Si back to even at 3-3. As for Eastlake, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
