Softball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

If Skyline was feeling good fresh off their 20-10 takedown of Valley Head on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings came up short against the Ider Hornets on Monday, falling 18-7. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 12-27-2. As for Ider, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-10.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-3 win against Valley Head on the 4th. Ider does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
