Temecula Prep extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 9-8. They put the hurt on the California Military Institute Rough Riders with a sharp 19-2 victory. Considering the Patriots have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Austin Ivar made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for Temecula Prep: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise.
In other batting news, Temecula Prep got a massive performance out of Cody Servin, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and five runs. Servin is becoming a predictor of the Patriots' success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 4-1 (and 5-7 when he doesn't). Kevin Baker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Temecula Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2025.
As for California Military Institute, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. They have struggled against Temecula Prep recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
On California Military Institute's side, Giovanni De Los Santos made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Alejandro Arzate, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run.
Coincidentally, Temecula Prep and California Military Institute will both be playing Santa Rosa Academy the next time they take the field. The Patriots will head out to face the Rangers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rough Riders will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
