            Basketball Recap: Riverwalk Academy Lions vs. McBee Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            It was a proper cat-fight when  Riverwalk Academy duked it out with McBee on Tuesday. The Riverwalk Academy Lions were beaten by the McBee Panthers 83-37. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

 Despite the loss, Riverwalk Academy still got an impressive performance from   Austin Thurman, who  dropped  a double-double with 12  points and 17  boards. With that strong performance,  Thurman is now averaging an impressive 8.1  rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was  Brayden Dawkins, who  went 5-for-9  to rack up 11 points.
 McBee got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Jakari Holloman out in front who  dropped  a triple-double with 31  points, ten  boards,  and ten  assists. Holloman has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more  steals the last 11 times he's  played.  Tyrek Wright was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with 21 points and 11  rebounds.
Riverwalk Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for McBee, the  win was  the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.
 Riverwalk Academy has  already played their next  game (against Governor's School for Science & Math), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. McBee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
