Baseball Game Preview: Clear Falls Knights vs. Clear Brook Wolverines

For the second straight game, Clear Falls will face off against Clear Brook. The Knights will welcome the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Falls is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Clear Brook a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Clear Falls' offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clear Brook on Tuesday.

For Clear Brook's part, the result came thanks to Ryan Benavides's shutout, as he gave up just three hits.

At the plate, Clear Brook's win was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Trenton Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Clear Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 4-16-1. As for Clear Brook, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-14-2 record.
