Basketball Game Preview: Polytech Panthers vs. Sussex Tech Ravens + How To Watch

The Polytech Panthers will take on the Sussex Tech Ravens in a holiday battle at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Polytech is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Smyrna on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Panthers were beaten by the Eagles 56-22. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the defeat, Polytech had strong showings from Tatiana Trader, who posted three points and eight boards, and Sierra Henry, who earned eight points and three steals. Henry is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Sussex Tech strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Milford, posting a 53-11 victory.

Sussex Tech's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Polytech, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Polytech was able to grind out a solid victory over Sussex Tech in their previous matchup back in January, winning 33-22. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ravens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
