Baseball Game Preview: Lawson Lightning vs. Cane Ridge Ravens

Lawson is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Cane Ridge a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Lawson Lightning will be playing at home against the Cane Ridge Ravens at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Saturday, Lawson came up short against Smyrna and fell 6-1.

Meanwhile, Cane Ridge fell victim to Smyrna and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-0.

Cane Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Lawson, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Lawson got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March against Cane Ridge by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Lightning have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ravens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
