Football Recap: Tulelake Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tulelake can now relate to. They were beaten by the Hayfork Timberjacks 68-0 on Friday. The Honkers have struggled against the Timberjacks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Levi Cavalli produced another solid effort rushing for 178 yards and five touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 35 yards and one TD for Hayfork. What's more, Cavalli racked up 177.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tatem Wiley, who gained 146 total yards and a touchdown.

Tulelake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Hayfork, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Tulelake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hayfork, they will face off against Loyalton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Grizzlies will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Timberjacks surely won't give up without a fight.
