Basketball Recap: Utica Takes a Loss

Utica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 51-35 fall against the Northridge Vikings. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-35 back in December of 2024.

Utica's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Northridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Utica will square off against Mt. Vernon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will face off against Zanesville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
