Volleyball Recap: Benton Central Victorious

Benton Central lost to Mishawaka Marian back in October of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bison walked away with a 2-0 win over the Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.

Cali Foster paced Benton Central's offense, picking up 13 kills. Foster got some help from Madison Minniear and her 20 assists. Foster also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Khloe Goodman, each putting up two.

Benton Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Mishawaka Marian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Benton Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Lake Central on the 27th. As for Mishawaka Marian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Elkhart on the 27th.
