When it comes to explaining why Jefferson Academy lost, don't look at Jimeto Orji. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-7 to rack up 15 points and five steals. Jefferson Academy is 6-1 when Orji posts three or more steals, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Riley Prevost, who posted seven points.

DSST: Green Valley Ranch's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tobe Ozoma led the charge by shooting 75% from the field on his way to 14 points. Those 14 points gave Ozoma a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Abankwa, who went 5-for-7 en route to 10 points.
