Baseball Recap: Smoky Valley Comes Up Short

Smoky Valley lost against Nickerson on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings fell 15-10 to the Panthers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Smoky Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Nickerson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-18 record this season.

Nickerson will look to defend their home field on Friday against Larned. The Indians will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Smoky Valley will be paying especially close attention to Nickerson's game: after Nickerson faces off against Hillsboro, they'll take on Smoky Valley again.
