Softball Recap: Interboro Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Interboro was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 9-1 to the Perkiomen Valley Vikings. The contest marked the Buccaneers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Interboro saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Summer Burrell, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Interboro suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Perkiomen Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Interboro didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Academy Park on the 8th. Perkiomen Valley has also already played their next match (against Methacton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
