Zayden Burks Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Skyline's Zayden Burks, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Burks rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.3) per game.

Kettle Run's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars challenges Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Colton Quaker Dazzles in Kettle Run Win
Colton Quaker's big game helped extend Kettle Run's winning streak to seven on Friday. Quaker was dynamite, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2023.
Unfortunately for Sherando, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Quaker. When Quaker last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he rushed for 166 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Zach Roth Turns in Season-Best Effort
Kettle Run was led to victory by Zach Roth, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Roth picked up 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 61 yards.
On the year, Roth has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 75.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.
