Volleyball Recap: Taft Comes Up Short

Taft lost against Eagle Rock back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Toreadors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Toreadors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taft wouldn't go down easily and took Eagle Rock into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 15-13.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 23-17-2. As for Eagle Rock, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 28-15-1.

As of now, neither Taft nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
