Baseball Recap: Carlisle Takes a Loss

Carlisle lost against North Cross back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chiefs fell 6-2 to the Raiders. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carlisle saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Carter, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was Carter's first of the season.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Cross, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Looking ahead, Carlisle is taking a road trip to challenge Miller School of Albemarle at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Cross, they will host Christian Heritage Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 9.7 runs per game this season.
