Soccer Game Preview: Fairless vs. Canton South

The Fairless Falcons will head out on the road to face off against the Canton South Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Fairless is headed into Monday's contest following a draw, the team's first since August 27. Neither they nor Triway could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Fairless' goal came courtesy of Adaline Borojevich, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, Canton South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Orrville, falling 6-0. That's two games in a row now that Canton South have lost by exactly six goals.

With that draw, Fairless' record moves to 6-3-3. As for Canton South, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Fairless beat Canton South 2-0 in their previous meeting on September 3rd. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
