Volleyball Recap: Ruskin Takes a Loss

Ruskin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Grain Valley Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-4, 25-4.

Ruskin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Grain Valley, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Ruskin will venture away from home to take on Van Horn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grain Valley, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lee's Summit North on the 20th.
