After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hope, Classical was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers with a sharp 14-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Purple, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Classical got a massive performance out of Emmy Tavares, who got on base in four of her three plate appearances with five stolen bases. Vivian Hoffman was another key player, getting on base in four of her two plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Classical always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of 1.909. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of 1.909 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Classical's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Juanita Sanchez Complex, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
