Football Game Recap: Wheaton vs. Magruder

If Wheaton was riding high off their 35-0 takedown of Kennedy last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Wheaton came up short against Magruder on Friday, falling 7-0. Wheaton's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.

Wheaton's defeat pushes them down to 3-6. The win makes it two in a row for Magruder and bumps their record up to 5-4.

The Knights do not have any more games currently scheduled. As for Magruder, they will face off against Damascus at 7 p.m. ET next week. Magruder doesn't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
