Baseball Recap: Stratton's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Stratton came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Granada Bobcats 6-5. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stratton's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Von Isenbart, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Isenbart is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-7 when he doesn't).

Stratton's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Granada, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bobcats beat Stratton by a score of 7-5 later that day.
