A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bremond Tigers face off against the Aggieland HomeSchool Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday... Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Bremond will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Iola, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Bremond breezed by Iola to the tune of 62-34 on Tuesday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 24 points or more this season.
Bremond got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jeremy Harris out in front who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Jeramiah Morgan was another key player, putting up eight points along with 13 boards and six assists.
Bremond smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in nine consecutive games.

Aggieland HomeSchool had a senior duo take command as Van Call went 8 for 15 en route to 22 points and five rebounds and Ethan Cox went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Call has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Micah Krajca, who posted four points and 13 rebounds.
Aggieland HomeSchool has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points per game. As for Bremond, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Bremond has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 34.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Aggieland HomeSchool struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.6 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
