Football Game Preview: Buffalo Bison vs. Forsyth Panthers

The Buffalo Bison are taking a road trip to challenge the Forsyth Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Buffalo took a 38-point loss the last time they faced off against Reeds Spring, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Bison made off with a 15-14 victory over the Wolves. The win was some much needed relief for the Bison as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forsyth). They put the hurt on Fair Grove with a sharp 58-34 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Forsyth, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Buffalo was dealt a bruising 41-6 defeat at the hands of Forsyth in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bison avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
