Volleyball Game Preview: Knightdale Knights vs. Heritage Huskies + How To Watch

Knightdale is 0-10 against Heritage since January of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Knights will head out to take on the Huskies at 6:00 p.m.

Knightdale came up short against Wake Forest on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Heritage made easy work of Vance County on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Heritage's got stronger as the match went on, holding Vance County to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-5, 25-2.

Heritage's win came from a few key players Knightdale will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Melody Beltran, who had eight aces and one assist. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Miller, who had five aces and two assists.

Heritage was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 28 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 16 consecutive contests.

Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Knightdale, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Knightdale might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Heritage in their previous meeting on September 11th. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
