Recap: SkyView Academy Hawks vs. Arrupe Jesuit Generals
The SkyView Academy Hawks won the last time they faced the Arrupe Jesuit Generals, and things went their way on Monday too. SkyView Academy secured a 42-37 W over Arrupe Jesuit. The victory made it back-to-back wins for SkyView Academy.
SkyView Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maggie Barrett led the charge by scoring 7 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Martin, who scored 11 points.
Several Generals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Clarisa Cordova, who scored 4 points. Riley Delfeld was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Arrupe Jesuit struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as SkyView Academy pulled down 16.
SkyView Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
SkyView Academy will be playing at home against Woodland Park at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Arrupe Jesuit, they will head out on the road to face off against Denver West at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
