Volleyball Recap: Avon Park Comes Up Short

Avon Park was the 3-2 winner over Santa Fe Catholic when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell 2-0 to the Hawks on Saturday.

While Avon Park was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19.

Avon Park now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Santa Fe Catholic, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Avon Park and Santa Fe Catholic will both be playing Tampa Bay HEAT the next time they take the court. The Hawks will host Tampa Bay HEAT at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
