Softball Recap: Craig County Comes Up Short

Eastern Montgomery hit Craig County with a eight-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rockets lost 14-4 to the Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Rockets in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Craig County's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Eastern Montgomery, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Craig County and Eastern Montgomery will both be playing Bath County the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Chargers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rockets will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
