Volleyball Recap: Dover Crimson Tornadoes vs. New Philadelphia Quakers

There's no place like home for Dover, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the New Philadelphia Quakers on Thursday. The Crimson Tornadoes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Quakers, too.

Dover had a senior duo take command as Madeline Fockler had 16 digs and four aces and Lily Galbraith had 11 digs. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Fockler.

Dover pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for New Philadelphia, they moved to 13-9 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Dover will welcome Tri-Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New Philadelphia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
