Basketball Game Preview: Carbon Dinos vs. Canyon View Falcons

Carbon hasn't had much luck against Canyon View recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Carbon Dinos will welcome the Canyon View Falcons at 7:00 p.m.

Carbon is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. The contest between them and Emery didn't end well, with Carbon falling 55-38.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kyler Orth, who posted six points and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals. Logan Bennett was another key player, putting up 11 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, Canyon View entered their tilt with Delta on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 46-35 victory over the Rabbits.

Canyon View has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Carbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Carbon was taken down by Canyon View 79-37 in their previous matchup back in January. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Carbon was down 46-26.
