Basketball Game Preview: Westwood Warriors vs. Mountain View Toros

The Westwood Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Mountain View Toros at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Westwood has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Mountain View will arrive with three straight wins.

On Friday, Westwood was beaten by Red Mountain 60-30. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked 44th).

Mesa typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Mountain View proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Jackrabbits with a 52-46 victory.

Westwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Mountain View, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Westwood was dealt a bruising 75-24 loss at the hands of Mountain View when the teams last played two weeks ago. Can Westwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
