Volleyball Recap: Bunker Hill Falls to Father Mcgivney Catholic in First Game of Season

Bunker Hill had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.

Father McGivney Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Bunker Hill will host Bishop DuBourg at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Father McGivney Catholic, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Belleville East at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
