Basketball Game Preview: Braham Bombers vs. Upsala Cardinals

The Braham Bombers will challenge the Upsala Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Braham's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.

Braham is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against East Central by a score of 70-61.

Braham got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Eklund out in front who posted 25 points in addition to five assists and five boards. Eklund is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Soren Lilly, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds.

Braham smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 21 consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Upsala waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 68-50 victory over the Bulldogs.

Upsala's record is now 22-6. As for Braham, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Braham skirted past Upsala 87-85 in their previous meeting back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Upsala's Jack Primus, who dropped a triple-double with 27 points, ten boards, and 12 assists. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Braham still be able to contain Primus? There's only one way to find out.
