Basketball Recap: Port Allen Takes a Loss

Port Allen lost against Glen Oaks back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Port Allen Pelicans were dealt a 56-23 defeat at the hands of the Glen Oaks Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Pelicans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while the Panthers are ranked 109th).

Port Allen has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season. As for Glen Oaks, the victory got them back to even at 17-17.

As of now, neither Port Allen nor Glen Oaks have any future games scheduled.
