Basketball Recap: Hilldale Find Success

Hilldale won the last time they faced Miami and things went their way on Monday too. The Hilldale Hornets came out on top against the Miami Wardogs by a score of 63-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Several Wardogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Beckett Sooter, who posted 16 points and seven assists. That's the most assists Sooter has posted since back in January. Waike Roblyer was another key player, putting up six points and 11 rebounds.

The win got Hilldale back to even at 11-11. As for Miami, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Coming up, Hilldale will face off against Crossings Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Crossings Christian will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Hilldale surely won't give up without a fight. Miami does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
