Football Recap: Kearns Comes Up Short

Kearns extended their losing streak to nine on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-9. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Hillcrest Huskies. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2018.

As for Hillcrest, their record now sits at 3-7. Considering they have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

K'Von Houston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 352 yards and three TDs while picking up 15.3 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 40 yards and one score. What's more, he racked up 140.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Hillcrest's leading receiver Alani Latu was Houston's top target yet again, picking up 89 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As of now, neither Kearns nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
