After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grant, Poly was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the North Hollywood Huskies 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Parrots also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Poly got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 33-35, 20-25, 15-12.

Leandro Juarez paced Poly's offense, picking up 25 kills. Juarez got some help from Leonel Juarez and his 43 assists. Finally, Jason Blanco kept Poly's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Poly's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for North Hollywood, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Poly will take on Roosevelt at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Hollywood, they will face off against Arleta at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
